It’s FRIDAY! Which means that it’s time for the big Grand Finale of this week’s Holiday Home Tours here on the blog! I am overjoyed to have the wonderful Lucy from Craftberry Bush as my guest blogger today. Lucy is one of THE most talented folks I have ever known, and to top it off she is also the most beautiful person I have ever met in real life (inside AND out.) This girl is so amazing, and I have cannot wait for you to see her home! Enjoy, y’all!
There are few things more beautiful than the glow of a Christmas tree in the evening.
It drives hubby nuts that I ‘forgot’ to paint the inside of the door, but truth is, I intentionally left it untouched to remind me of the makeover I had given it after picking it up at the thrift store.
You can see all the details of the tree here, but in a nutshell, I used
pine cones, nests, paper feathers and a few handmade ornaments.
I carried the natural and neutral colors down to the gift wrapping as well.
I want to thank Beth once again for having me and thank YOU for taking the time to visit our home.
It is my hope that among all the hustle and bustle of this
time of year and the beautifully decorated homes we
enjoy visiting, you are able to make time and reflect on
the real reason why we celebrate this beautiful season.
Lucy
This week I have been featuring some of my favorite blogger’s homes decorated for Christmas. These women have all been so kind to guest post for me and open up their gorgeous homes to all of you this week. As a big “Thanks!” to them, please go visit their social media pages and give them a like! Also, if you see something you love here in this post, please take the time to click over to their blogs to pin any of their photos so they will get all that repin traffic. Happy Holiday Home touring! To see more decorating ideas as well as all the past holiday home tours, click here. ~Beth
Oh how I love Lucy’s home too! Loved seeing the hutch and the coffee table vignettes! And I agree, every house needs some Lucy love!
Love it all! I think I am going green next year!
Absolutely beautiful! Love all the touches of red, and the snowy Christmas tree! Absolutely gorgeous!!!!
I LOVE Lucy’s home and her style. Stunning. Lucy, I love how you can take thrifted finds and work them together so beautiful in your decorating and you know how much I love your beautiful watercolors. Merry Christmas! x
I LOVE this lady and all she does! I’ve taken her tour tons of times and it’s just as exciting now as it was the first time! I love that she’s a Canadian girl, so it’s a possibility that we will meet at a bloggy conference one day. Hope I don’t trip all over my self and act too star struck! lol Off to check out the other tours. xo
I have looked at this post numerous times because I love it so much. It is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your home with my us.
I’m a “lurker” on Lucy’s blog–everything is so peaceful and pretty. And I can’t believe that someone with her talent would be scared to share her art.
Love the idea of the feathers in the tree … but I’m afraid my crazy cat would, well, go crazy, if I did it at my house.
Lucy your home is always so pretty, especially at Christmas! I love every little thing about it, especially your white tree against the white and grey wall, stunning!
