Oh my goodness, so happy for you! What an amazing year this will be for you! My love story began my junior year of college when I walked into class on the first day of the semester, and a cute boy caught my attention. We spent the next 2 months staring at each other in class and laughing when the goofy professor made another mistake, but never talked because we were both so shy. Finally, I woke up one day and said to my roommates, “I either talk to this guy today or I’m never allowed to mention him again!”. He always sat with his friends, but that same day, another girl in class sat right beside him in the auditorium. I walked right up, told her that was my seat and introduced myself to him. He said, “I know your name and your smile” and I literally swooned. He’s the only guy in my life I approached first and asked out first and we’re still together 17 years later!
Beth,
I am so very happy for you and your family…congrats to all!!! Sounds like 2015 is going to be one awesome year for y’all!!
Blessings,
Linda
Squeal! I wanted to watch the video but I couldn’t get it to load. So I read the comments instead to find out your news! Leo and I do have a love story. When we met, we had both been burned by previous mates. The first time we danced with each other, I looked into his eyes and could see straight down into his beautiful soul. That was 22 years ago and we have been inseparable since.
Oh my goodness!!! Congratulations! I am so thrilled for you. Your story is very similar to my own. It was one crazy ride, but God is good.
My love story… I grew up in Sweden and dreamed of moving to the US after uni. I knew my way in was as an au pair, but wasn’t sure I could hack living in with a family for a full year, which was the requirements back then, so decided to try it out for a summer in the UK. I was here for six weeks and during that time I fell in love with the country. And two days before going back home, I met my husband of 20 years, who supported me for many years while I was bedridden with crippling back pain. Meeting him also led to me finding Christ, and having 2 awesome children that we waited for a VERY long time for.
Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh! That is so AWESOME! I am so happy for y’all! What a blessing. xoxo
Congratulations Beth! Wonderful news. Kathy
I’ll share a different kind of love story… my dog Huxley. She passed away in March at 15.5 years old, and I miss her every day. She was not easy to live with – aggressive, aloof, arthritis – but she had my heart. I think she taught me to love unconditionally, my first adult foray into family and parenting, and to accept that some loves are worth sacrificing for. I’ll be forever in her debt for that… for opening my heart that way.
Congrats! My love story is the best because we started as friends! My husband and I knew eachother for a couple of years before anything came about. We married young and got to grow up together; we are a passionate pair. We fight hard and love hard!
Wow, Beth! That is awesome! You share my life story as well…We are happily one and done and she wasn’t easy to come by either. Well now she is 12 and we couldn’t be happier with our lovely family of 3. (We share our home with 2 boxers as well). I am so excited for you and can’t wait to travel down the new path you are on with you.
SO excited for you!
The fact that you announced this on my birthday is a good sign! Congrats to you, my friend! I wish you all the best in this fun, change-filled year!! xoxo
I am so stinkin’ excited for you guys!! and God is SOOO GOOD! xoxo
oh….my love story. Theres so many to tell. Jesus. Ethan. My kids. I feel surrounded and humbled by my love stories. Here’s a little bitty though. On my first couple dates, I kept tripping, swallowing bugs while talking, and other embarrassing stuff. And he still kept asking me out. haha
Oh. My. Gosh!!! SO very excited for you….just got the chills from your adobe voice video…..congrats to your precious family!!! xxoo
First of all, YAYYYYYYYYY! I’m so happy for you my friend, and also happy I don’ t have to try to keep it quiet any more!!!! I’m not very good at that. 😉 I’m thrilled for your Life Change Lotto, and can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store for you and your precious family!
As for my love story, this post says it better than I ever could: http://makinglemonadeblog.com/post-i-shouldnt-publish-intuition/
So excited for you! What an amazing year of change!
Congratulations!!! GOD is good all the time!!! My love story is something I live with every day… My Family. A few years ago one evening I called my dear husband from work to ask if he would start dinner and I would be home within the hour. The next call he received was from my co-worker telling him something was wrong. What followed I do not remember but goes with he and our precious two children being told to tell me goodbye that I would not survive the life flight to a trauma center 3 hours away. I had suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and spent the next 31 days in a trauma center. My family never gave up.. Never believed I was going to die. My faithful and loving husband stayed by my side day & night. Almost a year of physical therapy following speech and occupational therapy, multiple surgeries, and so many obstacles & changes he is still by my side day and night. Our family of 4 is closer than ever all because the love of GOD …because HE never left OUR side….GOD is good all the time!!
Congratulations!!
Congratulations, Beth! That is such wonderful news. You will have such an exciting year upon you.
xoxo, Trina
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! so happy for you!! Congrats!
My love story: I met my wife on E Harmony 8 years ago now. I knew I had fallen in love with her because I detest shopping and I spent a couple of hours following her and commenting on holiday gifts she was purchasing for friend and family a few months after dating. We are now married and have a two year old.
Congratulation to you!
I grew up with my husband. he was my best friend, and one day we started dating…. 18 years later, we are going strong!
We met at work, were together for 7 years and are now happily married for going on 5 now! 🙂 We’re loving life!
I fell in love with my son & daughter immediately. There is no love like a mother’s love.
So I have a classic love story of falling in love with my husband, but I think I will share about falling in love with my cat…I grew up in a non-cat loving family, and I have really bad cat allergies. My husband loves cats, and his family always told me I would come to love them, too. Well, when one of our friends moved away and left his cat, we inherited him. And now, I really love him. Even if it does mean getting allergy shots a couple of times a week….

And loads and loads of congratulations on baby #2! Many blessings!
When I was 15 I had my so called first boyfriend. We parted and after 20 years searched him online and we met up. Happy to say we ended up together and had a son. Who would of thought you would end back with your first boyfriend
Congrats on all of your wonderful news!! My love story: I had been a divorced, single mom for 10 years, after getting on my knees and telling God I was ready to again share my life with someone, the very next day, I received an email from Mr. B. We had been good friends for many years but we hadn’t been in touch for over a year! 2 years later, we married! He is my last love <3
My love story is that God has continued to love me even when I sin or turn away from Him.
My most recent love story is one of losing my last cat. I hadn’t been pet free all my adult life and this was my last pet. It broke my heart. Then in wandered this stray cat from the neighbourhood. Each day she would visit me through the open patio doors while I blogged away.
One evening, she refused to go home. So I brought her in for the night, vowing to find her owners the next day, somehow, someway. I woke up to her sleeping on top of me. And I was smitten once again with cat fever.
I found her owners the next day, and I sadly knew I’d lost a dear friend. So I told my boy to hop into the truck, because we were going ‘browsing’… at the pet shelter. We ended up coming home with two tuxedo kittens… a brother and sister. And the rest is history. They steal the show with so many blog posts and readers look forward to seeing what they’re up to next!
Thanks for a chance to tell my story. And Beth… yours is a hard one to beat! Congratulations, girl!!!
Wow! Such a heartweartwarming story. So happy for you! God is good! Here is my love story.
Eight years ago, my husband and I got married bought a house and 2 months later we were thrilled to find out I was pregnant! Our baby was due on July 5th! Life was perfect or so we thought. At 14 weeks, the day after Christmas we lost our precious little baby. At the end of June we found out we were expecting again. We lost our second baby at 5 weeks. We tried for 7 years and basically gave up the hope of having any children of our own. Life was busy, I no longer thought obsessively about our babies, and on October 1st of 2012, we found out we were expecting again!! Oh the joy and the fear that came along with it! But I had a healthy pregnancy and my baby girl is 20 months old!
Thanks for letting me share!
Congratulations! So happy for you!
I do not have a romantic love story. My hubby and I met in college and it was pretty much love at first site. I remember we were at a dance and he kept watching me dance and twirl around and when ours eyes met…well, the rest is history;)
Congratulations! What a blessing!
Our love story is, a mutual friend invited a bunch of his friends to see a movie – he sent out a text to 10 of us saying he’d be at the theater at 3pm and if we were free, we should join him. My now-husband and I were the only two who came. We’d never met before, but we were immediately attracted to each other – our friend says that he felt like a third wheel for the entire afternoon, and knew right away that we’d get married someday, and he was right!
I met my husband in April of 2005 on a dating site. We got married in January of 2006 and have been together over 9 years now.
I met my honey at a church dance, then forgot about him until 5 years later. We met again. Dated for 10 months. We have been married for 10 years an have had 4 beautiful babies. I am grateful for my happily ever after.
Congrats!!!! I love little blessing miracals == I have 4- all 7 years apart– and believe me that was not the plan. God KNOWS best and believe it was best. These blessings are my whole world, so I really understand your joy. Each was so different, and so wonderful– even though I have to admit I hate pregnancy for me==so sick every day and so much pain– but well worth every moment at the the end. THey have all brought me such blessings and joy.
Congratulations to you! What a blessing!
my fiance and i met at work. only a couple months into our relationship i found out i was pregnant. despite things moving so quickly we are still going strong 8 years later and we have two awesome sons.
Congratulations!!!! So exciting. It took me a while to have each of my two children. I am so very lucky I have them in my life. I was thinking of a few love stories of my kids and husband. Each one is incredible to me.
Today I was thinking of reading a book and remembered an incredible story that happened to me. Years ago when I started to get into self help books to help ease my mind I was given one called Alpha Awareness. This book changed my life and views of thinking. After reading this book, I ended up reading hundreds that followed. At the beginning and soon after reading this wonderful book I was invited to a meditation class and heard this meditation CD by Heather Macauley. It was one track at the end and after everyone listened to it were we absolutely amazed at the class and how great we all felt afterward. A few years later I remembered this class and wanted that CD for my car on the drive to work each morning. I forgot the name at the time and did a search for “Meditation CD” The first search google search that pulled up was it!!!!! Incredible. I listened to the mediation track online to be sure and was so excited that out of hundreds of meditation cds out there I found THE ONE. I purchased this and put it in my car and was even more amazed once I started the tracks from #1. This woman on the Tracks spoke of Alpha Awareness and the Author Wally Minto and how it changed her life too. This was such a strange coincedence of events in my life. These few moments for me were all intertwined. A small book by a local author and the 1 class I went to around this time, one search all lead to love and absolute peace for me each morning.
I had a mini stroke 5 years ago and my fiance stayed in my room for the entire five days and since it was Christmas time he decorated my room to cheer me up!!!
Congrats…this is a wonderful story! My story has to do with my youngest daughter and my grandmother’s spirit. Background: All my four children had varying degrees of jaundice when they were born due to mine and their blood incompatibility. My first two were able to be naturally healed by natural sunlight from a hospital window. However, my third had to have a blood transfusion because her bilirubin count was so high and wasn’t coming down. It was too dangerous to not do a transfusion. It was difficult because she had to stay in the hospital for over a week. Then, when my youngest was born and her bilirubin count was even higher than my previous daughter’s were, we feared she would have to get a transfusion too. I prayed that whatever was best would happen and for the strength to deal with it. I had such peace and love wash over me. Then her bilirubin count climbed EVEN higher. We prepared ourselves for what seemed like the inevitable conclusion…the transfusion. At that moment, my grandmother’s spirit made herself known to me (we had been very close) and I knew that a miracle would happen. Although once again, my daughter’s bilirubin count rose higher still. This time to dangerous levels and the doctors informed me it was time for the transfusion. My grandmother’s spirit continued to stay with me. I felt such love from her. Then they did their final check before the transfusion and her levels were not only down, they were normal! She did not need a transfusion. She has been a happy, healthy girl ever since!
I don’t really have an amazing love story. I’ve loved guys over the years but my current loves are my niece and nephew 🙂
Congratulations! As for my story, the greatest love of my life is no doubt my three children!
My love story is I am going out with a girl that I grew up with and its great!
My love story– her name was Noel. we were in 3rd grade and we actually did a fake marriage on the asphalt at recess one day.. it was adorable… then she moved to North Carolina.
Congrats! I have known my husband since 1st grade. Our paths crossed several times throughout the years (always at the wrong time) until 6 years ago. It was finally the right time & we have been married for 5 years.
Our first date was at a carnival. We held hands as the fireworks boomed in the sky. It was my favorite day! We are still together 5 years later
My love story is quite simple, we meant in high school, he was my best friend, we never dated ; he was never my boyfriend, but we where so close. After I graduated high school, we didn’t see each other as much for about almost a year, as he went out of state, but we kept in contact. He soon moved back, and surprised me for my birthday, after years in college, we shortly after started dating, and now years later he is my husband. It is funny how you can have the most awesome best friend in the whole world, and it turns out you end u marrying that person. Love is all about that strong connection.
