New Favorite: Wildtree Freezer meals Workshop

Filed Under: My New Favorite Things 3 Comments

I have an important announcement to make.  Believe it or not, my freezer is stocked to the brim with delicious, healthy meals for the rest of the month. This is a very big deal for me, since my meal planning capabilities took a nose-dive the minute I got pregnant and have not gotten back up in the past six years.  But not anymore, my friends! I'm turning a new leaf over here.  Are you ready for the best part?   Here is a sample of the kinds of meals that are sitting there ready and waiting for ... How to make Golden leaves from Polymer Clay

Filed Under: Arts & Craft Ideas, Fall Decorating, Polymer Clay Crafts 42 Comments

In yesterday’s post about fall decorating ideas I promised to tell you how to make these gold leaf place settings from my table.  Are you ready?  Don’t blink,  you might miss it. It’s super simple to make leaves from polymer clay. Step 1.  Gather leaves from your yard. I found that green hydrangea leaves worked really well since they left deeper grooves in the clay. The pointed sweet gum leaves worked well, also. Step 2. Flatten out a lump of white polymer clay so it’s about 1/4” thick.  ... Read More about How to make Golden leaves from Polymer Clay

Fabulous Fall Party: Fall Decorating with Nature

Filed Under: Fall Decorating, Mantels, Repurposed, Reused, Recycled Junk 39 Comments

However… All of my blogging buddies are breaking out their autumnal adornments this week, so the pressure is on.  I was invited to join a few AMAZING home bloggers in the Fabulous Fall party today.  Since my ... Bella or Bust, and an Ode to the DIY Bloggers of the World.

I could have SWORN that I put this recap up on my blog last Fall, but apparently I am losing my mind, because after digging through my archives it’s not turning up anywhere.  So, in true belated Boppy fashion, here I am nearly a YEAR later giving you the deets on one of the best events I attended last year.    The debut of Bella Rustica in September of 2012 was quite an event.  It was held in a giant barn at Milky Way Farms in Pulaski, Tennessee, which was just beautiful.  The farm was owned ... A Great Big Pfaltzgraff Country Cupboard Giveaway!

Filed Under: Contests and Giveaways, Sponsored Content, Tablescapes 123 Comments

Pfaltzgraff provided me with the dishes featured in this post to provide a review of their product along with the giveaways for my readers.  All opinions are my own, and I have not been paid to publish positive comments. When you’ve been happily married for nearly ten years with no hope of anyone ever throwing you another wedding shower, the prospect of getting new place settings of gorgeous dishes sounds pretty appealing.  When Pfaltzgraff reached out to me asking if I would review a set ...
