We gave the dogs a bath for the 1st time since we got them. They both freaked out over being rinsed off but really loved the scrubbing part. Woodrow jumped out and ran around the yard like a mad man after we rinsed him. He doesn’t like loud noise so a bucket of water being dumped on his back might have been a wee bit much for him.
They were some smelly old hounds but now they are so fresh and so clean clean. You’d be amazed at what all a dog’s coat can hide. I rinsed out lots of grass and mulch pieces and two or three fleas just on Gus! Bless his little flea-ridden heart. Now I know why he kept scratching his behind so much. Hopefully we can get them started on Frontline or similar soon. They are still a little too young for it, though.
