This weekend has been incredibly busy. We have officially listed our house for sale as of yesterday morning! I can’t believe my house is on the market considering when we moved in 3 years ago I said this was going to be my 10-15 year house. But things change, and so do our needs. Right now we really need a main level garage so my hip can stop screaming at me when I carry Garrett up and down the stairs. So… here we go off into the wild world of house hunting. Fun times!
And of course with house selling comes house cleaning out. I’m amazed at the amount of junk we can accumulate in just a few short years of living here. J has been a de-cluttering mad man lately, and I’m so thankful to him for putting in so much effort. We’ve done so much this weekend and I feel like we’ve barely made a dent. So much still to do.
Garrett has developed a nice cough/cold/fever combo this weekend, too. Boo. I just called the after hours nurse to see at what point I should worry when his fever gets high. When we put him to bed it was 102.8, but she said not to worry until it got up to 104-105! Whoa! You better believe if its that high I will be worrying! For now we will just do Tylenol every 4-5 hours and keep the humidifier on him. We slathered him down in Baby Vicks vapor rub and put some of the Watkins menthol camphor bath soak in his bath. That stuff is POWERFUL! One tablespoon in his tub and it made my entire second story smell like menthol! It will definitely help you breathe better.
In addition to that I’m trying to get all the loose ends wrapped up for the big Grand Opening brunch on Saturday. I am so excited about this party, and I hope there will be a good turn out for it. Yall come! And bring your friends! I have so much food planned and I need someone to eat it all! :o)
