Are you a sucker for succulent wreaths like me?
Do you want to DIY one but can’t find the time? Did you read my last post and drool a little bit? If so, then I have some great news to share!! I am teaming up with Restore Interiors to auction off a beautiful Unskinny Boppy Original Succulent Wreath to the highest bidder with 100% of the auction proceeds going directly toward the Alabama Tornado Relief Efforts!
How exciting is that?
Wouldn’t you love to have one of these unique succulent wreaths for your very own?
Did you see how many steps it took to create these suckers??
So instead of DIYing it, wouldn’t you rather sit back and sip on a cold drink while I slave away creating your succulent masterpiece? If you’re anything like me, you’ll see my blog post and file it away in the “Must Do” department of your brain only to pull it out ten years later and be like “When am I EVER going to find the time to do this project??” and then you’ll be wishing you’d bid a little bit higher and won my online auction.
Mmmhmmmm… You know it’s true.
So.
Here’s what you need to do:
Post a comment on this post ONLY and place your bid. Keep checking back here to the comment section of this post to see if you have been out-bid and need to up your ante a little bit. Don’t be scared to be ruthless with your bidding. Competitiveness is a dying art.
The auction will end precisely at 10:00 PM Central time on May 25th, 2011.
The highest bidder at the end of the auction wins one (1) succulent wreath made by me!
I will ship it out to you free of charge no matter where you live. (Wait.. that’s not true. This auction is open to USA residents only since these are live plants and I don’t want to violate any customs regulations. Sorry all you un-Americans, you’re not included!)
The fine print: I cannot guarantee you will get your exact requested initial or letter since Urban Outfitters doesn’t have all 26 letters in stock anymore. I will try my best to find a suitable substitute. If I cannot find your initial I will use a round wreath form approx 10″ diameter. I cannot guarantee any specific type of succulent will be used in your wreath since I’m at the mercy of Lowes and other local garden centers inventory. I also cannot guarantee a shipping/ delivery time since this project might require me to order materials online to complete. I do promise to get it to you in as timely a fashion as possible. All proceeds from this auction will go directly to Restore Alabama and benefit the Alabama tornado relief efforts. Auction payment must be made via Paypal only. Auction will end precisely at 10:00 PM Central time on May 25th, 2011.
I wanna see if we can make something big happen, here, guys, so go for it!

[…] I spent part of the cool day outside with Garrett, planting some things and checking out all the wild things in the backyard. Yesterday I had myself a “De-Stress Beth Day” which included shopping all over downtown Homewood and lunch, ALONE!, at Savages Bakery. Man it was a great day. I’ll do another entry on my purchases, but I was able to redeem one of my many Groupons at Sweet Peas Garden Center. I picked up this beautiful hot pink mandevilla along with some more succulents to go into the wreath of the lucky auction winner. […]
