Wow. Just ten hours.
That’s how long it took for God to acknowledge my post from last night about angels unaware. I posted that at 11:00 pm last night, and this morning I was in the process of dropping off my two bags of gifts for the people I chose from the angel tree when guess what happened?
A man and a lady pulled up in the parking lot of the church and said hello as they walked past me while I was unloading. They had to ring the bell to get the secretary to the door, so I stood waiting outside with them until someone arrived. When the secretary asked what they needed, I overheard the man say he needed some help with gas money. Then he saw me wrestling with my bags so he came over and helped me carry them inside. When he stepped outside to get something from his truck and I was able to approach him privately. I only had $5.00 cash on me, but I wrote him a check for a little more. He refused at first, but I said that I really felt that I needed to do this for him today.
Then he told me that he was driving from Montevallo to UAB and needed gas money to get to downtown. He thanked me and gave me a hug, then said “God Bless.” and went back inside.
The coincidental kicker… My husband graduated from UAB, I graduated from Montevallo.
I have no doubt that man was put there just for me today. So I just wanted to say thanks, God, for reading my blog. 🙂 And thanks for the boost of encouragement to help get me through the rest of the 30 day giving challenge. I hear Yah, loud and clear.

What a blessing. He was probably so humbled to even have to go to a church and ask and you blessed his socks off.

Chill bumps…seriously. And uh, I’m pretty sure God did not read your blog. He gave you the desires of your heart. 🙂
