When this entry posts I will be hanging with some two bit ladies, soaking up the Florida sun. I don’t think we’ll be riding in a new Mercedes, but I will be wondering if I ever did anything to have as much fun.
Garrett is staying at home with Dad for the weekend while I go enjoy some quality girl time and celebrate my 33rd birthday. G is going through a really clingy phase right now, so we’re trying our best to prepare him for me being away for three nights. He knows I’m getting on an airplane and flying high in the sky. I have tried to explain to him that after three bedtimes mama will be back home. I don’t know if he gets it or not, so I’ve made this little chart to help him out:
Every night before bed he can put a sticker on the chart so he can see how many stickers are left before I get back home. I hope it helps things! One of his favorite new tv shows is I Spy on HBO Family, so that’s the pictures I stole chose to use for the chart.
See yall next week! In case you miss me, feel free to print your very own chart and put your own stickers on it until I get back, mmkay??
Mama loves you!
