So for all you Yankees out there who are buried underneath 34 inches of the white stuff right now ::coughKatiecough::, you might want to just stop reading or else your eyes might roll right out the door like a meatball on top of spaghetti, all covered with cheese.
We got snow to stick for the first time EVER on Christmas day here in Central Alabama!! According to the NOAA website, “For Birmingham, where nearly 100 years of weather records exist, there has never been a White Christmas in the classic sense.”
Dude.
NEVER have we had a white Christmas.
Until this year. This year it snowed all day LONG on Christmas. Not much of it stuck at our house on Christmas day, but the day after Christmas I woke up and looked out the window and saw this sight–
It was pretty amazing to see. For one, I couldn’t believe we actually had snow. And for two, I couldn’t believe how big that hill is in my back yard.
It kinda made me want to hang out the window and sigh and say “Oh Inman, Inman… Come back to me. Come back to me is my request.”
This year we got a whole HALF INCH of snow on our house! Woot woot!! And when you’re nearly three years old, even half an inch of snow makes you act like, well, a kid on Christmas. I was pretty excited about it, too!
There is really not much more to say about it, so I’ll just show you a whole bunch of pictures and let them tell the story.
Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and just in case I don’t see you again…

That’s the cutest little snowman I ever did see.
awwwww! I love the video!!!
