I bought this little end table one day from The Foundary. I sure do buy a LOT from that place, huh!? I can’t help myself, Willard.
They have good deals.
When the table arrived I loved the shape of the base but I hated the finish. The finish was supposed to look like rust? I think? But it was man-made rust, so it just looked kind of gross and diseased instead.
Plus I’ve never seen pink colored rust. Yick.
So… I tackled this table with my trusty Rust-O-leum oil rubbed bronze spray paint. (I love the trigger on this stuff, btw. My fingers thank Rust-O-leum.)
Check out the new finish on this little side table!
Now I love the shape AND the color. It fits perfectly beside my favorite chair in my living room.
Thank goodness for spray paint.

love.
I’ve been trying to find a round table like that for forever now! I love it!
Oh yeah, waaaay better. I love the base too.
Your take is Muuuuucho better 🙂
That looks great! It fits perfectly there!
beautiful!!
The power of spraypaint … overwhelms me. Literally (looks at legs, feet, hands, arms, chest, sunglasses, shoes….) *grin*
You are so brave to paint a new item! It does look great. The last time I saw pink in something old was the forgotten-about- leftover-lasagne in the back of the refrigerator…it was gross too.
Thank you so much for making our linking party rock this week…
