As fate would have it, my Secret Santa could not have been more perfect for me.
Kimberly at Serendipity Refined came into my life at just the right moment to tell me just the right things that I needed to hear about a situation that I have been thinking about for over two years now. We have been “blog acquaintances” for a while now, but when we were both chosen as newbies on Jennifer Rizzo’s Holiday House Walk we became more than acquaintances.
I earned a new friend.
On the eve of Kimberly’s big “surprise” home tour for Jenn’s house walk we became facebook friends, which quickly turned into a three hour long instant messenger conversation about everything from our day jobs to our ex-boyfriend’s wives… It was one of those “Why am I telling you all of this stuff I just met you??” conversations, but it was so therapeutic for me, so I want to thank Kimberly for being my sounding board that night.
Isn’t it amazing how things work out like that? Kind of…. serendipitously? 🙂 As we wrapped up our extremely long conversation that night Kimberly thanked me for keeping her calm on the night before such an important event for her blog. But it is I who am grateful to consider Kim one of my newest friends.
Thank you so much for my gifts, Kim! I love the candle with the matching matches!
Your ornaments are so cute and the handmade potholder is perfect!
