The birthday of favorite children’s author, Dr. Seuss, is coming up on March 2nd.
My three-year-old has Dr. Suess theme days all week long at her preschool to celebrate. Today is Silly Sock day and tomorrow we get to dial it in by going to school in our pajamas! Fun times.
Read Across America Day is celebrated annually on or around Dr. Seuss’s birthday by schools, libraries, and reading programs. Parties are held and kids, parents, and teachers participate with fun activities and of course, food!
While kids dress as their favorite Dr. Seuss character, they’ll also need Seussian food to help celebrate. From Green Eggs And Ham donuts to Grinch popcorn, from Lorax pretzels to Cat In The Hat cupcakes, you’ll find clever and creative recipes to help you plan and create a whimsical party in honor of Dr. Seuss.
