Winter Bath Bombs For Frozen Fans!
It’s time to “let it go!”
…let what go? The idea that you have to buy your bath bombs at the store! With just a few simple ingredients, these homemade bath bombs are super duper easy to DIY and they are adorable as well.
Making your own homemade bath bombs isn’t all that hard at all. In fact, this is just one of the many bath bomb recipes that you can experiment with and make at home.
Don’t the added colors of the silver and blue give it just a really wintry look? If you’re planning a Frozen themed birthday party and looking for some ideas for favors, these would be perfect.
My daughter Caroline is a huge Frozen fan and she LOVES bath bombs, so these were a huge hit at our house. Here she is last year posing with her icy idol!
We are also super stoked about the second Frozen movie coming out later this year…maybe we should plan a spa night at home in celebration with these Elsa bath bombs.

FROZEN THEMED WINTER BATH BOMB RECIPE
Ingredients
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1 cup citric acid
- 1/2 cup corn starch
- 4 tablespoons oil (fractionated coconut oil works best for white bombs but you can use what you have on hand.)
- 5-6 drops your favorite essential oil
- blue/white/silver sprinkles
- bath bomb molds
Instructions
- In a bowl, add in corn starch, citric acid, and baking soda stir well. Add some sprinkles to the mix.
2. Slowly stir in oil with a fork to keep it light and fluffy. Add in essential oil and stir well. It will bubble slightly but try not to let it get too fizzy.
Add a few more sprinkles inside the bath bomb mold, then pack the mixture into both sides of the mold. Press firmly together. Once you press together, leave in the mold for about a minute or two, then remove and place on a tray to dry (harden) overnight.
The possibilities are endless with different molds, colors, and fragrances. Let your imagination guide you!
