It’s time to reflect and recap the best posts of 2018! I’ve been doing this every year for the past 8 years now on my blog (EIGHT.) and each time it’s eye-opening to see what you guys like the most! These posts will be the top posts from 2018 only, and I had to dig pretty deep into my analytics to get 10 posts from the past year. I started a new job as a Designer for a local home builder in July (that announcement is one of my top posts) and since then, my life has been a whirlwind of crazy commuting and traffic and daycare and full-time working mom again. It’s HARD, yo.
So, blogging has slipped to the backburner as you can imagine. Thankfully I have a decade of posts here on the blog to keep pageviews rolling in, so my traffic is holding steady for now. I have hired some excellent Virtual Assistants to help me keep it going, and I have lots of awesome things planned to share with you in 2019.
Big things are ahead, so stay tuned! It’s only gonna get better, I promise.
So, let’s do this. I’ve got my top ten posts of 2018 to share with you today! Let’s count them down from #10.
10. Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe (Just 3 ingredients)
When the weather is cold and dreary, this is my go-to soup. It’s fast, easy and warms up your belly quick!
9. Must See Montgomery: Alabama Safari Park
If you’re ever driving down I-65 just south of Montgomery, Alabama, this place is a fun (and dirty) way to spend an afternoon! It’s like an African safari in the middle of Alabama!
8. Top Five Shade Loving Plants for your Garden
Gardening posts are usually in my top 10 best, and this one is one of my favorites. If you’ve got shade, these are your best options for plants!

1. Back Porch Makeover: New Bed Swing with Blue, Green and White Summer Colors
My new back porch swing bed! This porch makes me so happy every time I open my bedroom blinds and look out the back door. It definitely deserves to be in the top spot this past year.
